Members present: Chair-Danielle James Choiniere, Vice Chair- John Chesarek, Ashley Bowen

7:00pm meeting called to order.

Ashley was welcomed to the board! 

   > Agenda adjustments: None
 
   > Approval of minutes: Tabled. No quorum, Ashley was not a member or present at the time of the September meeting. 

   > Public comment: None

   > Old business:
       - Subcommitties: nothing to report.
       
       - Grants: The Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation (FPR) is accepting pre-applications for the 2026 Recreational Trails Program and Alburgh is a town currently underserved by the grant. $50,000 is the maximum award with 20% matching funds. The Planning Commission members feel the town should apply for this pre-application to help mark and sign current trails, and help with developing trails on the town's Industrial Park lands. 

       -Signage: Local Motion has found a sign frame they may give us to place on the East Alburgh lakeshore park. Ashley said she could help offer sign suggestions that would be within the frame's 2x3ft dimensions.

   > Correspondence: Nothing.

   > Other business: Fall walk on the East Alburgh/McGregor Point. The Planning Commission wants to host a walk on November 8th or 9th to get the community aware of the lakeshore park and offer a fun outdoor activity!

   > Adjourn: John motioned to adjourn at 7:38pm, Danielle seconded, all in favor!
